Paul Walton was born and raised in the Midwest and has been into riding bikes since his youth.  Paul's love for cycling landed him his first bike shop job in Rockford, Illinois. This is where Paul started learning bike his mechanic foundation. Paul soon moved to Prescott, Arizona where he advanced his mechanic ability under the guidance of a local shop owner at High Gear Bikie Shop. Paul started racing mountain bikes and received a grass roots sponsorship from K2.
In Prescott, Paul started teaching his first Park Tool Mechanic classes and got involved in bicycle advocacy. Paul moved to New Mexico and started teaching bike mechanic classes at UNM and CNM. He got involved in local cycling advocacy and racing scene here in Albuquerque. Paul received his USA Cycling coaching license in 2007 and started promoting races.  Paul is always looking to improve his cycling and fitness health knowledge and keep up on the latest training news to better serve you.
